HR Advisor - Part time
Our client is an international full-service legal practice with offices in London and across Europe and Asia. They are looking for a highly professional HR Administrator to join their team in their prestigious offices in The City of London. KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Recruitment and selection
� Support HRM with recruitment of staff at all levels utilising the most cost efficient and effective methods;
� Interview or assess candidates as necessary and ensure process is in line with best practice
� Provide advice and guidance to partners throughout the process
� Work with operations team to deliver accurate recruitment reports for partners
� Build good relationships with external recruitment agencies
� Work closely with Recruitment centre of expertise to ensure consistency of approach
� Produce comprehensive job descriptions
Employee relations
� Provide expert guidance and support to partners and group managers to ensure all employee issues are resolved, with the emphasis on building excellent relationships and instilling trust;
� Support management of all flexible working requests with the flexible working partner(s)
� Proactively ensuring that new policies are effectively communicated and implemented in each group ;
� Co-ordinating the delivery of performance management, appraisal and salary review processes for each practice area;
� Support partners and group managers with the management of poor performance
� Proactively identify changes and improvements to employment policy and practices;
� Monitoring and managing sickness absence including referrals to the firm's OHA as necessary
� Manage long term sickness and PHI claims where necessary.
� Managing the maternity leave process for fee earners
Joiners & leavers
� Reviewing, co-ordinating and implementing the induction process for new joiners;
� Conduct new joiner chats, collate feedback and communicate to the appropriate people as necessary;
� Ensure departmental induction processes are in place and review with the business as necessary;
� Conduct exit interviews and communicate feedback to the appropriate people as necessary;
Learning and Development
� In consultation with line managers, reviewing appraisals to ensure identified development needs are met.
� Support the HRM to deliver the divisional 'People strategy'
� Support firm-wide strategic projects
