Our client has a history that goes back 300 years and is now a FTSE listed top 100 company listed on the London and New York exchanges. Its’ business is focused on general insurance aimed at strengthening market positions that deliver sustainable profitable performance in over 130 countries. Key to their business strategy is having the right culture and people, so developing talent and embedding a performance culture across the Group is key. The company had been searching widely for a HR Group Corporate Director for some time using various search and contingency recruitment consultancies before approaching Resource Innovations after being recommended to us for solving difficult assignment.
Resource Innovations Approach
After a very detailed briefing from key senior personnel in relation to the role requirements, culture and strategy, we recommended a search and selection process as well as changes to the package in order to attract candidates. We also encouraged the recruitment team to be open to individuals who they may not have been traditionally considered in the past, but possessed key skills and competencies. The search process was also supported by a branded advertisement in the Sunday Times.
