The Director of International Talent Acquisition job influences and impacts the future direction of talent acquisition efforts across Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Each day you will provide senior HR leadership to the international HR function supporting recruitment and staffing needs globally. You should be a self-motivated recruitment leader who has previously achieved success in rapidly growing multi-national organizations and a desire to grow personally and professionally with each talent acquisition project.
Director International Talent Acquisition:
• Provides senior level resourcing advice and expertise to regional and corporate operations leadership with a primary focus on international recruitment/staffing and major project startups.
• Defines and implement structure, process, technology, employment brand, employee referral, college relations, sourcing and recruiting capabilities in line with the current enterprise wide program in place.
• Benchmarks HR metrics, data, processes, systems and tools to evaluate the impact of recruiting efforts internationally
• Build and manage total recruitment budget (includes cost effective external vendor/agency relationships).
• Partners with senior business groups leadership, international HR leaders and the VP of Talent Acquisition to ensure consistency in global employment and human resources practices.
• Develops global recruitment capabilities and strategies to support the business objectives, including labor brokers/sourcing contracts and strategies for the Middle East and or other locations
• Works closely with corporate compensation and benefits leadership to ensure market competitive position for both local national and expatriate staff as part of the overall recruitment and staffing efforts.
Basic Qualification
• Bachelors degree in business administration, with a human resources management or international business major
• Extensive experience of diverse and progressive recruitment, resourcing and staffing experience
• Prior experience setting up recruitment structures, processes, tools, technologies, employment branding (marketing and advertising), sourcing strategies and capabilities across multiple continents
• Experience in organizational change management practices, along with relevant experience in recruiting management, process development, and program/project management
• Demonstrated leadership experience related to recruitment, resourcing and staffing
• Must be able to travel and willing to relocate to international work location
• Willingness to work overtime and varying hours as required
• Current knowledge on market and industry trends for relevant operational, methodology and technical topics
• Strong influencing skills and ability to constructively challenge ideas and positions
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills at senior and executive management levels
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and use sound judgment with limited functional guidance and oversight
• Ability to facilitate discussion, drive consensus, and build cross-functional partnership
• Extensive experience supporting a large HR organization
Preferred Qualifications:
• International HR work experience living and working outside of country of origin
• International work experience staffing major projects and or regional/country HR operations within Asia Pacific, India and/or the Middle East
• Experience in TCN recruiting and developing labor sourcing contract terms and assignment conditions from the Middle East or Asia Pacific regions.
• Professional HR certification (CIPD or equivalent)
• Six Sigma belt trained for work process improvements
